ahhh hot summer nights...

Yeah life has been pretty relaxing and steady. I've been living in New Brunswick with my boyfriend and his friends. It's been extremely hot lately, and I feel bad for asking Allen to crank up the AC every night, but the heat has been too intense for me to sleep through comfortably, and I have a very large tolerance of the heat. I'm the opposite when it comes to the cold. It bothers me greatly. I prefer the heat...but this humidity is too much.

My summer class is almost over, and THANK GOD! It's been driving me crazy...seriously >__<

Today, Allen and I found the Alexander library on college ave and explored it for a while. It disappointed me though; there wasn't a fiction section! The whole library was filled with reference and research books. Not a hint of fiction to be seen in any of the long, sprawling hallways of books. There were ancient books too, as old as the university. They were so old, and beautiful. I wish I could have taken them home with me, but I didn't have a library card and I had to be a rutgers student to take it out. I won't be a student until next fall. But still, no fiction section? That's inconvienent...even for the literature majors. There has to be another library on campus somewhere that has a fiction section. Because this gigantic library with 3 floors didn't have any. I did manage to find a small section of american short stories...the closest thing to fiction there...but that was it. Ohhhh wellll. My quest to find a library with a fiction section near Allen's house will continue on..there HAS to be one on campus! I know there is!!!!

I gotta stop spending alot of money on book and just borrow them from a library like I use to >.< derrrrrp -.-

Allen and I watched a wonderful movie by Hayao Miyazaki called Whisper of the Heart. It was the most touching story about a girl growing up and finding out what she wants to do with her life, and then puts all her heart and soul into it. It's also a story about her first love, which is extremely sweet and natural. This movie made me want to cry a couple of times, but I didn't....It was sooo cute! I want to watch it over and over and over again! And it inspired me to go find a library and read ^__^ yep.
